Pitching History
This was a humorous series of vignettes about inventors from different points in history attempting to pitch the next 'big thing' to executives who couldn't care less.
This project was very short but very involved. I used flats covered in orange peel paint to create the stone walls and give them the texture that they needed before adding several coats of spray paint in different opacities and colors.
The biggest challenge of this project was the wheel itself. I used an old truck tire which I covered in chicken wire to create the rough angles of stone, then I used paper-mache to cover the chicken wire before painting. The wheel also got a coat of the orange peel for that textured stone look. The completed wheel was very heavy but quite convincing, I was very happy with it overall.

The Lightbulb
This vignette was not quite as involved as the previous one. The biggest challenge here was the lightbulb itself and coordinating the explosion of the bulb, as well as getting the lightbulb to appear as though it were from a different time period. I did this by wrapping the base in wire and attaching the bulb to an old candleholder.
